Artist: Tom Dameron
Tom Dameron is a self-taught artist and musician residing in Homewood, Alabama. Tom had a fifty-year career as a Hospital Pharmacist but spent his free time developing his art and music. In addition to his art, he plays tuba in a rather eclectic trio known as The Old-Fashioned Rhythm Method. He also plays in The Anything Goes Trio and a new group called the 1920s Jazz Babies. His artwork consists of a variety of mediums: pencil, etchings, encaustics and acrylics. The focus of his work is the celebration of people and nature. His work can be seen on his website, tomdameron.com, on Instagram and Facebook, and of course here at Alabama Treasures.
