Art History

I’ve been painting and creating since early childhood. My mother used to send me to paint lessons in the attic of an old home that had been converted into an art gallery in historic Montgomery, and I loved it. I attended Auburn University, where I studied art and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in visual communications. My corporate career has always focused on creativity as a graphic designer, art director, creative director, and marketing manager. And painting has been a constant part of my life, with ebbs and flows.

Style

My focus is on abstract art and expressionism, and I love both.

Inspiration

I love to paint when inspired by the creativity I find around me, whether it be nature or the work of another artist. I also enjoy painting as an outlet to express my thoughts, feelings and use energy with focus.
