In woodworking, a trestle table is a table consisting of two or three trestle supports, often linked by a stretcher (longitudinal cross-member), over which a board or tabletop is placed. This trestle table is a little different than the usual trestle table, in that it has four regular legs with beams on each smaller end of the table. The main trestle attaches to those beams, making it very stable. The tabletop is about 1.5” thick, with an easily cleaned waxed top. It can hold a lot of plates filled with food, as well as being a fine dining room addition for it’s beauty.
